Last Friday I had the absolute pleasure of going to the airport to meet our friends as they arrived home with their daughter from Ethiopia. To see them coming down the escalator was such and incredible moment! For many weeks last summer, it seemed doubtful that this moment might ever happen but it did. IT DID! IT DID! IT DID!!!! Seeing A. with her daughter in her arms felt like a HUGE victory. I could not be happier for them. I was snapping photos like the paparazzi, I just couldn't get enough of that cute face.

Victory indeed! And a beauty to go with it. We did it!!! I just wish I could be snapping pictures as you come off the plane :( - why do you live so far?
